my pain is not a given

After years of tight muscles and a shoulder surgery, I had pretty much accepted the idea that I would always have some level of discomfort, especially after exercise. Training with Ross has shown me that my pain is not a given. I can now go for long runs without having to ice my shoulders or massage my back. Hopelessness and acceptance of pain has turned to excitement about the things I want to accomplish.
